Supplementary Regulations
4. ENTRIES
4.1 Opening and Closing: These open with the publication of these regulations and close at 5.00pm on Friday 30th April 2010.
Entries post marked after the normal closing date but received prior to the close of Documentation will be subject to the late fee.
4.2 Entry Acceptance: Entries shall be made on the correct form and to be deemed valid must be complete in all details and accompanied by the appropriate fees. Acceptance will be at the organising committee’s discretion. Organisers reserve the right to refuse any entry in accordance with the prescribed provisions of the National Sporting Code.
4.3 Fees:
(1) Competing vehicle:
Entry Fee $485.00 including GST
Late Entry Fee $560.00 including GST
(2) Service Crew:
There is no registration fee for service crews.
(3) Withdrawal fee:
Any competitor who withdraws from the event after 5pm Friday 14th May will forfeit 50% of their entry fee. There will be no refunds of any fees for withdrawals after the start of documentation
4.4 Number of Starters:
The organisers reserve the right to abandon the event if less than 40 entries are received at normal closing date. The maximum number of starters will be 100.
Any additional entries received will be placed on the reserve list in order of receipt.
4.5 Acceptance of Entry:
These will be notified by mail no later than Monday 10th May 2010 together with any additions to the ASR’s and the seeded list of entries.
4.6 Competitor Requirements:
(1) Knowledge and Understandings: In signing the entry forms competitors (Entrant and Drivers) are deemed to fully understand the MotorSport NZ National Sporting Code and its relevant Appendices and Schedules.
Particularly,
(a) The National Sporting Code articles pertaining to protests and competitors obligations, and
(b) Appendix Three Schedule R articles pertaining to Stage notes, Pace notes and Reconnaissance.
(2) Licence Requirements: Both the No. 1 and No. 2 drivers shall hold a National Rally Grade or higher MotorSport NZ issued Competition Licence.
If the Entrant is other than a driver, an Entrants licence in the name of the Entrant is required.
(3) New Competitors: Any driver(s) who have not previously competed in three or more rallies must attend the new competitor special briefing. Details of venue and time will be announced with the acceptance of entry.
5. ELIGIBLE VEHICLES
5.1 Compliance: All vehicles shall comply with Appendix Two Schedule A and Appendix Three Schedule R of the current MotorSport Manual unless stated otherwise in these supplementary regulations.
5.2 Classes: Vehicles will be divided into the following classes:
- Class A 2WD 0-1300cc
- Class B 2WD 1301-1600cc
- Class C 2WD 1601cc and over
- Class D 1601 and over 4WD only
- Class E Pre ’96 4WD (refer to Mainland Series Technical Regulations)
- Class F 0-1700cc Classics (refer to Mainland Series Technical Regulations)
- Class G 1700cc and over Classics (refer to Mainland Series Technical Regulations)
Competitors can only enter one class.
